EPIPHANY
e⋅piph⋅a⋅ny
–noun, plural -nies.
1.an appearance or manifestation, esp. of a deity.
2.a sudden, intuitive perception of or insight into the reality or essential meaning of something, usually initiated by some simple, homely, or commonplace occurrence or experience.
3.a literary work or section of a work presenting, usually symbolically, such a moment of revelation and insight.
When we are young we are open to any learning experience that is brought our way. Our minds are an empty book
to be filled with all sorts of data. We go on through life and our minds seem to choose one finished and complete
set of learning experiences....but when we are old we begin to rethink and rewrite our own set of knowledge from
both experience and exposure. Some of us find comfort in the words of a religious set of documentation, while others
seem to have a self awareness to seek out a set of values or beliefs that are all our own.
Here we are. We have had an EPIPHANY all our own.
Here is Mine, and I wait to hear of Yours. for we must be open and encouraging to a different belief than our own.
